pumpkins + revolutions = starry night

a little downtown photo shoot with ashley and tyler…

they’re so cool… ashley held the pumpkin up to her face before i could suggest it…

we had to scramble a little: the sun sets sooo early – it gets super dark, super fast…

but why fight it…? we ended up creating a starry night in the pitch black of 5:30pm

broken jet skis + lake houses = apache, get on it

sarah and brandon got hitched at kali-kate in south austin… buda, actually… cindy – the coordinator was really cool, even after we surprised her by showing up with a photobooth…

crystal and brian wills drove down to shoot with me…

the guys and the girls both got separate cabins along the the lake in segiun..

livas was there as a groomsman… which is appropriate because he’s married to sarah’s sister… he took some pics also…

chinese paper umbrellas are awesome… sarah’s was pink

the first dance was carlton and fresh prince’s apache dance… [i had to youtube it]

wills shot the photo of me shooting the aggie war hymn… i’m leaving that as the last frame…

everyone should experience being in the middle of a circle at a reception… maybe next time i’ll moonwalk or something…

mountains + antique rail depot = mile high bridals

the first photo is how we ended up framing the bridal portrait – two images on a wide screen 16:9 frame and custom matte…

after the mountains, we headed to denver’s grand central station… it was wet, dark and a tad bit smelly…

we had to ask a security guard to turn on some lights… but it was perfect…

i needed some spicy tofu panang from thai basil to warm up my still frozen toes…

glasses + pumpkins = tricks, no treat

just some fun stuff from shoots around halloween…

the coat and tie is for an editorial about ill-fitting suits… kung fu kicks were a bonus…

i think i almost dislocated my shoulder trying to put on that jacket…
